Ceremony Information

Pilgrim Chapel is a non-profit, interfaith chapel open to the public for prayer and meditation during the week. They hold services on Easter and Christmas Eve, and these services are open to people of all faiths.

Our ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. Guests are welcome to begin arriving at the chapel 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. Immediate family members are asked to stick around after the ceremony for a brief photo session. Because seating in the chapel is limited to 75 guests, Mike and Kelly ask that parents hold small children on their laps in the event that pews become too crowded. The ceremony is expected to last 15-20 minutes.

Food and drinks cannot be brought into the chapel sanctuary. The officiant for our ceremony is Dr. Roger Coleman, a clergyman who oversees operations at Pilgrim Chapel. The reception at 2000 Grand begins at 6:00 PM; you are welcome to visit Kansas City landmarks or enjoy a tasty beverage at The Cashew in between the ceremony and the reception.
